Course Description:
Understand the basic principles of linear single inverted pendulum, and utilize linearization method to establish mathematical model. Under the simulation environment of Matlab, design methods in classical control theory such as root locus, frequency characteristics and PID design methods are used to design and analyze for the inverted pendulum system, and make it meet the required performance. The results of theoretical design are applied to the real system, adjustment and experiment are carried out, and make the real system meet the performance requirements finally. It is required that students can make comprehensive use of control theoretical knowledge which they have learned to analysis and solve control system design problem, and grasp the basic design method of control system.
